License

The free skill audit is MIT-licensed — the license file in its repo is the unmodified MIT text. Clone it, read it, fork it, redistribute it under the license's terms.

Paid packs are a use grant, not open source. One purchase covers one person's use, on any machine that person works on. You may modify the files for your own use and keep the modifications. Output you produce with these skills is yours, with no attribution required and no restriction on commercial use.

You may not resell, republish, or redistribute paid skill files, modified or not, and you may not include them in a product, bundle, or course you sell.

Team use: a flat team license covers up to five people at one organization for $237 — three solo licenses. Need more than five? Buy another team license; each covers five. Producing documents for a client is your own use; installing the skills for a client's people to run is the client's use, and they need their own license. The team license is sold as a separate listing from November 25, 2026, at list price — never during a founding-cohort window.

These files are markdown. They are trivially copyable and this license is a statement of terms rather than a technical control. It is here because reasonable buyers want to know where the line is.

Refunds

Gumroad is the merchant of record for every sale made here and handles refunds, chargebacks, and disputes under its own terms and at its own discretion. I do not process payments and cannot issue a refund directly.

What I can do: if a pack does not work as documented, email hello@happypath.works. I will either get it working or support your refund request to Gumroad in writing.

One practical note, because it catches people out: do not open a payment dispute with your card issuer and a refund request at the same time for the same purchase. Gumroad declines the refund request when both are running.

Updates

Every update within a major version goes to buyers at no cost, delivered by Gumroad to the email address used at purchase. Updates are announced in the changelog and in the newsletter.

A major version may be priced separately. If that ever happens it will be announced before it ships, not after, and the announcement will say what changed and why it is not an update.

If a change on Anthropic's side breaks a pack, the fix is an update. That is the deal — you are buying a maintained system, not a download.

Privacy

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no tracking scripts. There is nothing to consent to, which is why there is no consent banner.

Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which sees your IP address as a consequence of serving them. That is the only third-party request on a page you have not interacted with.

The newsletter is hosted by Beehiiv. If you subscribe, Beehiiv holds your email address under its own privacy policy and every issue carries an unsubscribe link.

Purchases are handled by Gumroad, which holds buyer records under its own privacy policy. I receive the email address attached to a purchase and use it to deliver the product and its updates. No list is sold, rented, shared, or used for anything else.

Compatibility

Requires: Node 18 or newer, and npm. brand-kit has no dependencies at all; the four document skills each depend on one package, docx. Nothing is hosted by me and there is no API key.

Tested on: Claude Code 2.1.239, and Claude on the web and desktop apps. Every skill is run end to end on each before it enters a pack. Older Claude Code versions are not tested, and nothing in these skills depends on a recent one — they install by dropping a folder into your skills directory, not through a marketplace.

Portable, untested: these are standard Agent Skills — a SKILL.md with name and description frontmatter plus supporting files — and Anthropic also supports that format on the Claude API and on Claude through AWS and Microsoft Foundry. Those surfaces are not tested here and are not covered by support. They will probably work. "Probably" is why they are listed separately.

If the format changes: a skill format change is an update, not a new purchase. See updates, above.

Support

One person answers hello@happypath.works. It is not staffed daily, so allow a few days for a reply.

Bug reports get a fix or a documented workaround. Questions about whether a pack fits the way you work get an honest answer, including "no, and here is why". There is no ticket system, no tiered support, and no chatbot.

Trademarks and independence

Happy Path Works is an independent product line. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic.

Claude, Claude Code and Anthropic are trademarks of Anthropic PBC. They appear on this site only to describe what these products work with. No Happy Path Works product name, logo, or domain uses any Anthropic mark.

Every pack requires you to hold your own Claude subscription. Nothing sold here resells access to Claude or to any Anthropic service.

AI assistance

These products, this site, and the newsletter are developed with AI assistance. A human reviews everything before it is published or shipped.

That is the same standard the packs themselves enforce: a claim gets verified before it gets written down. It applies to the people making them too.
